Chemicals
Currently
Chemicals is a part of our work. Currently, there are 300 registered chemicals that are supplied by 150 suppliers.
Targets
Our target for 2024 is to reduce chemical consumption by 30% in relation to turnover and ensure that 100% of used chemical products are either recycled or properly taken care of.
Actions
To achieve these goals, several actions will be taken such as measuring the purchase of chemicals, supplier selection by supplier assessments, conducting chemical projects including inventory, consumption, thinning, phasing out, and identifying responsibility/roles for chemical purchases.
Training and dosing of chemicals will also be implemented. Chemical handling and disposal will comply with the provisions of the Environmental Code. The use of substitutes/machines such as steam will also be explored.
The progress towards achieving the goals will be monitored through reduced purchase/use of chemicals, increased disposal of chemicals, and ongoing risk and impact analyses.

Transports

A natural consequence of being part of the construction industry is that we have to handle waste. Our target for 2024 is to reduce the weight of mixed waste by 33% - to be in line with our science-based climate targets.

Sustainable projects
We want to provide projects with a minimal impact on the planet. Therefore, we set up a target to have 40% lower emissions per project by 2026 from a 2020 baseline.
